The Upper Coastal Plain SCORE chapter was formally granted chapter status in March 2008. We offer counseling and business workshops, many without charge or fees.  The chapter serves entrepreneurs and small businesses in the five counties of Nash, Edgecombe, Halifax, Northampton and Wilson.

Since 1964, SCORE has assisted more than 7.9 million aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners
through counseling and business workshops.  More than 10,500 volunteer business counselors in 389 chapters across the nation
serve their communities through entrepreneur education dedicated to the formation, growth and success of small businesses.
